⛳ How It Started

Like many during 2020, we wondered if golf courses might shut down. So instead of waiting around, we turned some extra space in our home into a golf simulator. DJ pieced the whole thing together from scratch — filming the process, troubleshooting, and posting every win (and fail) on YouTube and discussion boards. Turns out, a lot of other people were looking for the same info… and Pixel Golf was born.

DJ is a self-proclaimed research nerd (says Melissa). He doesn’t just pick the flashiest gear — he dives deep into product reviews, specs, and community feedback to find what actually works. Melissa, with a background in business and marketing, turned the vision into a full-blown brand — and keeps everything running behind the scenes.

We’re not tied to a single brand. We’ve tested a lot of what’s out there and only stand behind what we truly believe in. Today, we’re proud to be wholesalers for Carl’s Place, GrassTex, and Foresight Sports — companies whose products we’ve personally used and trust.

🛠 Favorite Project So Far?

One of our most memorable installs was in Myrtle Beach for two New York firefighters. It was our first time getting “called up” to fly out and do an install ourselves — and we’ve been bringing custom sim setups to new homes, rental properties, and commercial spaces across the U.S.

🏡 Beyond the Sim

The golf simulator in our home isn’t just a place to practice. It’s a family gym, a movie theater, a dance party room, a Peloton studio, and a tented sleepover hangout. Our kids are growing up with golf — one even helped start a girls' high school team and made varsity right away.

And yes, our sim parties are legendary — especially our annual Pixel Masters Tournament and party where the winner gets their own green jacket (seriously!).
